I am still practicing ayurveda in a small way w/ valedictorian and apprentice from Light's last graduating class, Joy Miller( no relation). Yesterday I performed a massage oned a woman 6 month pregnant w/ twins. She was seeking peace. We began with yogic music played to cover the sound of a bulldozer working on a nearby lot. A glitch in the cosmos took out the blue tooth connection and I allowed my peace to transmit through my gentles and the cooing of touch in compensation of the mechanical racket. Soon the machine quit for the day and the sounds of enpatient wind through bamboo, river water over rocks and the cooing of turtle doves permeated the pavilion. The patient slipped into a dream state and absorbed peace through natures sounds.i felt blessed to be present, witness the transformation and be a small link in the process.
